Three years ago, Dr. Hugen treated my father for advanced kidney cancer that had spread to his lungs. Although we lost my dad after a short battle, my family will be forever grateful for the care, professionalism, and kindness shown by this doctor. My mother could not believe that he would personally call her at the end of each day to provide an update on Dad's condition. I was led to leave this review today because I was speaking with members of my church this morning who loved my father as much as I did, and it brought back fond memories of our experiences at UCI Medical Center with all of the wonderful nursing staff and with Dr. Hugen. In this month of gratitude, November, I am grateful for many things including Dr. Hugen. As I was cleaning up my house for the upcoming holiday, I was so thankful that Dr. Hugen has given me this opportunity to be with my family and friends this Thanksgiving. Dr. Hugen , is the most considerate, honest able Dr. I have ever had the pleasure to be his patient. Shows his patients what they need to see, explains the options and is always there to answer the additional questions that arise.

I'm usually nervous when I need to visit my Doctors. Not so with Dr. Hugen. His friendly demeanor makes each visit comfortable. He answers questions honestly and he even took the time to go over the images of my bladder from a CT scan. I've never had a Doctor do that for me. All in all... Dr. Hugen is very knowledgeable and has all of my respect. I'm lucky to have him as my Urologist.
